Welcome to the Application Form for the T4EU First-time Researchers Program 

The "First-time Researcher Programme", a hybrid-format training initiative aims to integrate transversal skills, specialised knowledge, and career development opportunities. The programme will hopefully draw on expertise from all member universities and align with the T4EU’s mission to foster excellence, inclusivity, and mobility across diverse scientific fields.

The presential modules will be at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Lisbon -Portugal, from November 17th to 21st, 2025.

Agenda Highlights

Monday (17th, afternoon): Opening & keynote “Challenges to research freedom, security, and integrity”
Tuesday (18th): Seminar on Open Science + Visit to Library + Seminar on Databases
Wednesday (19th): Masterclass on Research design with Idea Puzzle + Seminar on International academic writing
Thursday (20th): Masterclass on Research impact, communication, and media + Sessions on Mental health
Friday (21st, morning): Masterclass on Leadership and Entrepreneurship + Seminar on Building Research Networks + Closing Session
